Beltane blessings
Here in Aotearoa the last of Spring energies are upon us. We are in between seasonal changes again-not quite Summer but still Spring and I love it! The floral colours are amazing!
Everywhere and Everything is just bursting with life! The fruit tree blossoms have started to fall to make way for beautiful Summer fruits to come-like a hint of what is next for us.
Here in the Southern hemisphere the seasonal cycles turn on the Wheel and we enter what is known as Beltane, the last Spring celebration for the vibrancy of fertility, creativity, growth and abundance and this falls on the date 31st October.
In the Northern Hemisphere they are in the middle of their Autumn festivities as they turn into Winter and some maybe celebrating all hallows eve also known as halloween.
As this is a seasonal turning celebration here in the Southern hemisphere, in Aotearoa we honour this festivity (halloween) at the end of April during our Autumn.
So how do we celebrate this seasonal turning of Beltane?
Here at Charis & Co we light candles, find yours here
Celebrate the longer, sunny days of Summer that are coming. Dance during the day to music that ignites creative passions, surround yourselves in bright colours and connect with earth/nature.
It is also a celebration of intimacy so go on a date (but please remember fertility is very high at this time)
It is also a wonderful time to make use of the abundance of herbs and blossoms around you. Make a flower crown or harvest some blossoms to wear in your hair. The fairies will love it!
This is also a hugely creative time, so carry a notebook for those inspirations. Write them down. Listen to your dreams and intuitive inklings also. The veils between us and the spirit world are also thinning as it is eclipse season too.
If you are open to connecting with your Guides in Spirit you can also receive more messages from them-be receptive to the wisdoms.
Essential oils to incorporate Jasmine and Rose.
Crystals Garnet for health and vitality, Carnelian for confidence and passion
Wishing you all a blessed celebration at Beltane and if you found inspiration please check out the coffee shout here-thank you
